Lunkem International limited is a shipping Oil & Gas Services company which specializes in transportation and delivery of Petroleum products as Sea Ports, Tank Farms and Offshore locations. We also supply and lease barges, supply Boats, House Boats, Geophysical Vessels, Tankers and Project Cargo Carriers.

Pipefittings, Welding, Fabrication,Pump repairs, Shallow water jackets , Corrosion Inhibition , Blasting and Painting, Supply of offshore equipments, Pipline, Flowline and Riser rehabilitation.

Procurement of oilfield supplies, warehousing and delivery to oilfield sites as stipulated by our clients request and schedule. Our engineers travel abroad and procure directly from the overseas equipment manufacturers (OEM) according to clients’ exact specifications. Our offshore are services workboat and equipped with two cranes an ROV Machinery, Dredgers facility, radio communication equipment.

The company’s community relations policy is pragmatic and is based on cordial relationship with the Host and coastal communities in which it operates. The company has developed community assistance program in order to carry the host community along in the course of marine operations and job execution in the Host and coastal communities. This is to ensure peaceful and harmonious relationships with the host communities especially in the Niger Delta.

In order to achieve these:

  • Workers are made to undergo trainings that would keep them abreast of any hazardous situation that they are prone to be confronted with in the course of discharging their official responsibilities.
  • Hazard analysis is usually given before the commencement of any work to determine the extent or level of the hazard.
  • Employees are provided with safety equipment and gadgets such as hand gloves, gas mask, helmets, industrial foot wears like boots, jackets or coats etc. to be worn for their total protection from one form of hazard or the other.

Lunkem International Limited emphasis is placed on alcohol and drug control in consonance with our health and safety policy.

  • It is an offence for any employee of Lunkem International Limited and parents in Nigeria to be under the influence of alcohol or in possession of or under the influence of any non-prescription drug such as cocaine , amphetamine (speed ), marijuana, ashish or other illegal drugs at our work place.
  • Be under the influence of performance enhancing drugs and alcohol contravenes the company’s policy and as such will constitute official misconduct which will immediately lead to the termination of employee’s appointment.
  • The company shall not allow, use , possession, exchange, distribution or sale of drugs/alcohol in the company’s premises/sites. Onshore and offshore.
  • Only qualified medical practitioners (Doctors/Nurses) are authorized to administer drugs to workers. Only approved list for Fist Aid is allowed at work place unless a Doctor or a Nurse is attached to the site.
  • Record of administered drugs to whom and for what purpose including the date such drug was given must be maintained.

UCHENDU LUCKY ONYEKACHUKWU

UCHENDU LUCKY ONYEKACHUKWU is the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He Holds a Bachelor of science Degree in Economics from University of Lagos. Upon graduation he worked in the Marketing department of the then Progress Bank of Nigeria Ltd. Being a strong advocate of job creation , he opted to go into private business. His background as an experienced marketer as well as manager of human and material resources, have come to bear in the success story of LUNKEM INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. Mr Uchendu is widely travelled both within and outside Nigeria. He is happly married.

UCHENDU EKWUTOSI FOUSTINA (MRS)

UCHENDU EKWUTOSI FOUSTINA (MRS) holds the position of Director (Administration & Finance). She is a 2009 graduate of History and International Relations from the Lagos State University. Mrs. Uchendu is an administrator per excellence, with particular flair for private entrepreneurship. She is happily married with children.

UCHENDU ROSE NKEM

UCHENDU ROSE NKEM is the Director (Business Development & Strategic Planning). She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. Between 1998 and 2000, she was the Marketing Officer in ADDED NIGERIA LTD a leading import/export company based in Lagos. Thereafter she joined the services of another market leader , VINA INTERNATIONAL LTD where she rose to the position of Senior Manager (Sales). A believer in private sector-led economy, she joined LUNKEM INTERNATIONAL LTD in year 2002. Her hobbies include travelling, reading ,m games and cooking.
